Airborne Innovations Tracking Antenna
The R10 and R40 tracking antennas are compact and cost effective solutions for long range communications.
Airborne Innovations tracking antennas are typically supplied with integrated Picoradio datalinks, choose from 2.4 GHz MIMO, dual 900 MHz / MIMO, 1.8 GHz, 2.3 GHz, or the new Picoradio MIMO NX 900 / MIMO NX-Tri band 1.2 / 1.6 / 2.0 Ghz MIMO radios.
Other tracking antenna configurations are possible. Airborne Innovations also supports custom configurations and some radios from other manufacturers.
Optimum Solutions OS-TP Tracking Antenna
The OS-PT family of GPS Automatic tracking systems have been designed to provide GPS based positioning of high-gain antenna systems to support real time airborne video and telemetry transmission requirements.
The OS-PT-10/25/100 series utilizes a RS-485 communications protocol which provides several advantages over RS-232. RS-485 allows communication over longer lengths of cable (1000 feet) and enables the ability for networking multiple nodes. Multiple trackers can be controlled over the same cable. One cable assembly with a total of four wires (two for power; two for communication ) is required to operate the RS-485 / RS-232 tracking system.

– LONG RANGE ANTENNAS –
2.4GHz Pepperbox Antenna – Microhard™ – Ground
Designed specifically for long rang. The Pepperbox offers both high gain (13dbic) as well as wide beam width (180 degrees). No antenna tracker is necessary for this antenna. Just aim in the general direction you intend to fly. Vertical coverage on this antenna is somewhat limited (only 60 degrees) so it is not suitable for high altitude runs.
2.4GHz RHCP Antenna – PicoRadio™ – Air
The 2.4GHz BluBeam Ultra Airscrew (Cloverleaf) antenna is a high quality circularly polarized transmitter antenna.
